Under supervision of Professor Alán Aspuru-Guzik, I was an AI Researcher at The Matter Lab over both summer 2025 and 2026.
My work focused on the El Agente project, an AI agent framework developed for use in the automation and democratization of quantum chemistry workflows.
Through this role, I developed proficiency with agent-based systems and LLM finetuning. The work I completed strengthened my skills with Python and LangChain, and through the exploration of schema validation for agent output, I reduced LLM hallucination by close to 30% across the board.
