Under supervision of Professor David Liu, I worked as an open-source software developer on the Students Developing Software team from May through December 2025.
I worked specifically on Courseography, a web tool used by 1000+ undergraduate students each year to visualize course prerequisites and plan their degrees.
In this role, I participated in weekly Agile team standups, collaborated with team members in git-based workflows, and worked across the stack to build new features and maintain the integrity of the existing codebase.
Some of my notable PRs include:
- Refactoring the backend into a MVC architecture
- Modifying the CI config to emit test coverage reports
- Refactoring the navbar to use React client-side rendering
